The Master Degree in Landscape Intervention and Herigate Management is a professional graduate course created in 2000, when the European Landscape Convetion was aproved, with the aim of contributing to its implementation in Europe.

The master degree  proposes the formation of experts able to develop landscape planning projects specifically considering their involvement in multidisciplinary teams, when designing intervention and management proposals. Formation of experts on this specific field, clearly constitutes a social and professional need  recognised by the Convention .

The Autonomous University of Barcelona , through the Master Degree in Landscape Intervention and Management and Heritage, is a founding member of UNISCAPE , the European Network of Universities for the Implementation of the European Landscape Convention . UNISCAPE develops joint projects in training, research and awareness of landscape issues in  European context and constitutes a knowledge platform where students benefit from the program.
